‘हिमालै चुली त्यो पारी नि पट्टी गाइमर्यो रोगैले
रक्सीको पुइनी दाजु र नि बुइनी भेट भयो जोगैले’

भारतीय पूर्व सैनिक बिर्खबहादुर गुरुङले गाएको यो गीत जस्तै हाम्रो पनि जोगैले उनीसँग ताप्लेजुङमा भेट भएको थियो। ७० वर्षे बिर्खबहादुर उमेरले बुढो भएपनि उनको जोश हेर्न लाएकको थियो । नाटकमा भाग लिन उनी कलाकार छनौटको प्रक्रियामै केही महिना अघि फुङलिङ आएका थिए।

म जन्मनु एक वर्ष अघि नै मेरी घरकी हजुरआमा बित्नु भएको रे । म एक वर्षको छँदा हजुरबा पनि बित्नु भयो । घरका हजुरबा हजुरआमासँग रमाउन नपाए पनि मैले मामा घरका माया गर्ने हजुरबा र हजुरआमासँग भने केही समय बिताउन पाएँ । तर उहाँहरू बित्नु भएको पनि दशक बढी भैसक्यो । सम्झना भने मेरो मनमा ताजै छन् ।
